When an AI system encounters your website, it's really asking four things: can it get in, can it read what's there, does it understand who you are, and can it answer questions about you correctly. Here's exactly what we check for each.
Discover: can AI find and reach your site?
If a crawler can't reach a page, nothing else on this list matters. Some sites only reveal their real content after JavaScript runs in a browser, and crawlers vary in whether they wait around for that.
We check: sitemap and robots.txt status, page errors, and how many pages depend on JavaScript to show anything at all. We download your pages both ways, with and without JavaScript, and compare, rather than guessing from what your site is built with.
Read: can AI make sense of the page?
A page can be reachable and still be hard to parse: no clear headings, no image descriptions, no indication of what it's actually about. These are the plain structural cues a model uses instead of guessing.
We check: heading structure, image alt text, page titles and descriptions, and whether a page is accidentally blocking itself from being indexed.
Understand: can AI tell who you are?
This is the one most tools skip, and it counts for the most in your score. It isn't just whether you have schema markup, it's whether your business's identity connects consistently across every page, or falls apart under inspection. A broken reference is worse than a missing one.
We check: schema coverage, whether your entity data actually connects (or contradicts itself), and the trust pages, about, contact, who's behind this, that back it up.
Answer: does AI describe you correctly?
